I’m still somewhat under the weather, so here’s a picture of a dog, Canis lupus familiaris, and two Alaska moose, Alces alces gigas.

Taken 19 September 2010, this is a photograph of our dog, Boba Fett, wondering just what the hell to do about the two moose on the opposite side of our fence. In Alaska, it makes sense to have high fences. The momma moose and her (not too) young offspring were frequent visitors in our neighborhood.
